Part 1: Introduction & Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of TangoPilot, an AI-powered aviation learning and guidance platform operated as a product of SchoolingWork, Inc. (“SchoolingWork,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing, installing, registering for, or using TangoPilot in any manner, you (“User,” “Student,” “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use TangoPilot. Your continued use of the platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of the Terms, including any modifications or updates we may publish.

TangoPilot is a software service and does not constitute a flight school, does not provide licensed training, and is not recognized by any civil aviation authority. All content, tutoring, simulations, and materials provided through TangoPilot are for study purposes only, at the sole risk of the user.

Part 2: About SchoolingWork and TangoPilot

TangoPilot is a proprietary product of SchoolingWork (www.schoolingwork.net), a technology company focused on developing educational and career-guidance platforms. TangoPilot operates exclusively as a study assistance tool for individuals preparing for aviation-related knowledge areas, including but not limited to commercial pilot theory, air law familiarization, aeronautical knowledge reinforcement, and general aviation education.

SchoolingWork is not an aviation training organization, not an authorized flight school, and not a civil aviation regulator. TangoPilot therefore cannot, under any circumstance, issue pilot licenses, endorsements, certificates, or other formal aviation credentials.

TangoPilot exists solely as a guidance and supplemental study platform. Users are responsible for enrolling in certified training institutions and complying with the aviation regulations of their own jurisdiction.

Part 3: Scope of Services

TangoPilot provides users with:

  1. AI-Powered Study Assistance – including explanations, quizzes, and simulations of aviation-related concepts.
  2. Jurisdiction-Aware Guidance – where possible, content is tailored to reflect a student’s indicated jurisdiction; however, no guarantee is made regarding accuracy or applicability to official regulations.
  3. Non-Official Learning Materials – TangoPilot content is not derived from official exam bodies and does not attempt to replicate the format or structure of any licensed aviation authority’s examinations.
  4. Generalized Tutoring & Feedback – via AI tutor modules, which act as educational companions, not certified instructors.
  5. Optional Study Tools – such as progress tracking, performance analytics, and reference resources.

The scope of TangoPilot’s services is limited. It does not provide in-aircraft training, simulator training, or instructor-supervised ground school. No part of TangoPilot replaces the requirement for supervised training by a certified instructor or institution.

Part 4: No Certification or Licensing Disclaimer

TangoPilot and SchoolingWork explicitly disclaim the following:

  • TangoPilot is not a flight school.
  • TangoPilot does not employ certified flight instructors.
  • The AI tutor within TangoPilot is not a licensed aviation instructor, nor should it be considered equivalent to one.
  • TangoPilot cannot and will not issue any licenses, ratings, endorsements, or certifications recognized by the FAA, EASA, Transport Canada, DGCA, CASA, CAA, or any other aviation authority.
  • Completion of TangoPilot exercises, modules, or courses has no official standing with regulatory bodies.

Users acknowledge and agree that only authorized training organizations, instructors, and regulators in their jurisdiction can issue valid aviation certifications.

Part 5: Academic & Training Guidance Limitations

TangoPilot content is designed for study reinforcement only. Users must recognize:

  • TangoPilot does not guarantee success in examinations, checkrides, or evaluations.
  • TangoPilot does not replace official syllabi issued by recognized aviation bodies.
  • Study materials may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect due to changes in regulations, procedures, or best practices.
  • Students are required to cross-check all information with official regulatory sources and certified instructors.
  • Any reliance on TangoPilot for decision-making in actual flight operations, training progression, or regulatory compliance is strictly at the student’s own risk.

Part 6: Jurisdiction & Compliance Notice

Aviation regulations are jurisdiction-specific. For example, requirements under the FAA (United States) may differ significantly from the EASA (Europe) or Transport Canada (Canada) frameworks.

TangoPilot provides general educational content and, where available, attempts to align with a student’s jurisdiction. However:

  • TangoPilot cannot guarantee compliance with any specific authority’s rules.
  • Users are solely responsible for verifying that study materials correspond to the requirements of their jurisdiction.
  • TangoPilot is not liable for mismatches, omissions, or misinterpretations of regulatory material.
  • Students acknowledge that legal and training responsibility rests with the recognized aviation authority and their chosen training organization, not with TangoPilot.

Part 7: AI Tutor Disclaimer

The AI tutor within TangoPilot is a machine learning system. It is designed to provide explanations, study support, and feedback. However:

  • It is not human and may produce errors, inaccuracies, or misleading information.
  • It is not a certified instructor and cannot fulfill any role required by an aviation regulator.
  • Responses are generated algorithmically and may vary across different sessions.
  • Users must treat all AI outputs as supplemental and fallible, not authoritative.

You acknowledge that the AI tutor is a tool for self-directed study, and you are responsible for validating all responses against official materials and instructor guidance.

Part 8: Risk Acknowledgement

By using TangoPilot, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

  1. Educational Risk – Study materials may be incorrect or incomplete.
  2. Operational Risk – Misuse of TangoPilot content in real-world aviation decision-making could result in unsafe outcomes.
  3. Regulatory Risk – Relying on TangoPilot without official instruction may result in exam failure or non-compliance with training requirements.
  4. Technological Risk – As software, TangoPilot may contain bugs, downtime, or errors in data output.
  5. Personal Responsibility – You assume full responsibility for how you use TangoPilot, including any academic or career consequences.

TangoPilot is provided strictly on an “as-is” basis for educational enrichment.

Part 9: Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SchoolingWork and TangoPilot shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to exam failure, training delays, certification denial, employment impact, personal injury, or loss of property, arising directly or indirectly from the use of TangoPilot.
  • SchoolingWork disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content.
  • No advice, guidance, or information obtained from TangoPilot—whether written, oral, or AI-generated—creates any warranty or liability beyond those expressly stated in this Agreement.
  • Your exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with TangoPilot is to discontinue use of the platform.

This limitation applies even if SchoolingWork has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Part 10: Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Ownership
    • All intellectual property rights in and to TangoPilot, including but not limited to software, algorithms, databases, content, study materials, AI tutor outputs, trademarks, trade names, service marks, logos, and associated documentation, are the sole property of SchoolingWork, Inc.
    • Your use of TangoPilot grants you no ownership rights in the platform or its content.
  2. License Grant
    • Subject to compliance with these Terms, SchoolingWork grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use TangoPilot for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
    • This license does not grant permission to:
      • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display TangoPilot content.
      • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
      • Use TangoPilot in connection with any competing product or service.
  3. Restrictions
    • You may not use TangoPilot to create derivative works, training manuals, or exam simulators without prior written consent from SchoolingWork.
    • Any unauthorized use of TangoPilot materials constitutes intellectual property infringement and may result in civil or criminal liability.

Part 11: Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use TangoPilot in any manner that:

  1. Unlawful Conduct – Violates applicable laws, aviation regulations, or the rights of others.
  2. Misrepresentation – Represents TangoPilot as an official flight school, regulator, or certified instructor.
  3. Unauthorized Training – Attempts to use TangoPilot as a substitute for certified training.
  4. Commercial Exploitation – Resells, sublicenses, or otherwise monetizes access to TangoPilot without authorization.
  5. Data Extraction – Uses automated tools (scrapers, bots, spiders) to extract study material or system outputs.
  6. Interference – Attempts to disrupt TangoPilot’s operation, security, or infrastructure.
  7. Unsafe Use – Relies on TangoPilot for in-flight decision-making or real-world aviation operations.

SchoolingWork reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be engaging in prohibited activities.

Part 12: Warranty Disclaimers

TangoPilot is provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. No Accuracy Guarantee – SchoolingWork makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of TangoPilot content.
  2. No Performance Guarantee – SchoolingWork does not warrant that TangoPilot will improve exam results, lead to certification, or ensure training success.
  3. No Availability Guarantee – SchoolingWork does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or protection from data loss.
  4. Educational-Only Warranty – All content is provided for study purposes only and is not professional, certified, or regulatory advice.
  5. Jurisdiction Disclaimer – TangoPilot content may not reflect your jurisdiction’s most current aviation regulations.

By using TangoPilot, you acknowledge these limitations and accept that all risk remains with you.

Part 13: Third-Party Tools & Resources

  1. Third-Party Integration
    • TangoPilot may provide access to third-party tools, APIs, or resources (e.g., weather data, navigation aids, exam references).
    • SchoolingWork does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or availability of such resources.
  2. External Links
    • TangoPilot may contain links to third-party websites or materials.
    • SchoolingWork provides these links for convenience only and does not endorse or assume liability for third-party content.
  3. User Responsibility
    • You are solely responsible for reviewing third-party terms and complying with their policies.
    • SchoolingWork is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on third-party tools or links.

Part 14: Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  1. Governing Law
    • These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SchoolingWork is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
    • Users accessing TangoPilot from outside this jurisdiction must comply with their local laws, but disputes remain governed by SchoolingWork’s jurisdiction.
  2. Dispute Resolution
    • Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation between you and SchoolingWork.
    • If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of a recognized arbitration body in SchoolingWork’s jurisdiction.
    • Users waive the right to participate in class actions, collective actions, or representative claims.
  3. Injunctive Relief
    • SchoolingWork retains the right to seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property, proprietary rights, and unauthorized use.

Part 15: Termination of Use

  1. Termination by SchoolingWork
    • SchoolingWork may suspend or terminate your access to TangoPilot at its sole discretion, with or without cause, including but not limited to:
      • Violation of these Terms.
      • Misuse of TangoPilot materials.
      • Legal or regulatory requirements.
  2. Termination by User
    • You may stop using TangoPilot at any time by discontinuing access and, if applicable, deleting your account.
  3. Effect of Termination
    • Upon termination, your license to use TangoPilot immediately ceases.
    • Certain provisions, including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law, shall survive termination.

Part 16: AI Study Tools Disclaimer

  1. Nature of AI Study Tools
    • TangoPilot provides access to AI-powered study tools, including automated quizzes, practice questions, interactive modules, simulations, progress-tracking dashboards, and generative explanations (collectively, the “AI Study Tools”).
    • These tools are designed to assist students in reinforcing their own learning but are not substitutes for official syllabi, regulatory publications, or certified instruction.
  2. No Exam Replication
    • The AI Study Tools do not replicate the structure, style, or content of any official examination administered by civil aviation authorities, exam boards, or accredited institutions.
    • Any resemblance between generated questions and actual exam materials is coincidental and unintentional.
  3. Fallibility & Limitations
    • The AI Study Tools may generate:
      • Incorrect, outdated, or incomplete information.
      • Inconsistent answers or explanations.
      • Content not aligned with your jurisdiction’s regulations.
    • Users must treat all AI-generated outputs as study aids only, requiring verification against official resources.
  4. No Certified Instruction
    • The AI Study Tools are not certified instructors, do not hold aviation teaching licenses, and cannot replace human mentorship from authorized flight schools or ground instructors.
    • Use of AI feedback does not fulfill any regulatory training requirement.
  5. Risk & Responsibility
    • By using the AI Study Tools, you acknowledge and accept that:
      • Outputs may be inaccurate or misleading.
      • You are solely responsible for validating content with official sources and certified educators.
      • SchoolingWork and TangoPilot are not liable for academic, regulatory, or operational consequences arising from reliance on AI Study Tools.

Part 18: Final Provisions & Ultimate Disclaimer

  1. Educational Use Only
    • TangoPilot, including its AI tutor, AI study tools, and all associated content, is provided strictly for educational and study purposes only.
  2. No Aviation Authority Recognition
    • TangoPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recognized by any aviation authority (including FAA, EASA, Transport Canada, DGCA, CASA, or CAA).
  3. No Certification or Recommendations
    • TangoPilot will not issue recommendation letters, endorsements, references, approvals, or certifications for any examination board, regulatory body, or aviation authority.
    • No TangoPilot activity, score, or report may be submitted in place of official documentation required by regulators or training organizations.
  4. No Guarantee of Outcomes
    • Use of TangoPilot does not guarantee examination success, certification, employment, or regulatory compliance.
  5. Software Limitations
    • TangoPilot is software and therefore inherently subject to errors, downtime, or malfunctions.
    • Users must exercise independent judgment and cannot rely on TangoPilot in real-world flight operations or safety-of-flight decision-making.
  6. Entire Agreement
    • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SchoolingWork regarding TangoPilot.
    • Any prior agreements, representations, or understandings are superseded by this document.
  7. Severability
    • If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  8. User Acknowledgement
    • By using TangoPilot, you confirm that you:
      • Understand the study-only nature of the platform.
      • Accept full responsibility for verifying all materials against official sources.
      • Release SchoolingWork from liability related to reliance on TangoPilot for academic, regulatory, or operational decisions.
